Bunker – Army Door’s shelter door closures are delivered ready for installation by the local builder, who sets them in concrete together with the walls. In this way, the closures make up an integrated whole with the protective infrastructure.
Concrete excellently protects against radiation. It takes roughly the following material thicknesses to achieve the same effect against nuclear radiation.
Due to the high density and homogeneity of concrete, this construction also offers outstanding sound and impact insulation.
The closing door is 1.81 metres high and 81 centimetres wide.
The trapdoor is 80 centimetres high and 70 centimetres wide.
